Single Girl, Other City

I attended my first SPX over the weekend! It was a privilege to breathe the same air as Chris Ware, Dan Clowes, Gilbert & Jaime Hernandez, Adrian Tomine, and so many amazing, talented people in the indie cartooning world.

Hats off to the organizers for a fantastic event. I am both pooped and inspired to the max.

A Status Message a Day #111

Last week, one of my daily cartoons made the internet rounds and generated a lot of conversation. Thanks to all who participated, commented, shared, or just laughed. The response was really overwhelming and I've appreciated all the feedback from people around the world.

I'm a little off my morning game, but here's another cartoon in the rough. Happy mid-week.

City Pig in the Park

A quick sketch from my weekend, drawn from memory on the spot, after seeing a man walk his pet pig in a New York City park.

The pig, true to reputation, was completely focused on eating everything in her path.

I'll say this: Living in NYC is never boring.
