As a reader, I admire your perspective, but I can grow tired of it as well. However, unlike most men, I actually change things that bother me. I was going to ask you to go to a concert tonight, until TicketMaster totally screwed me over, and now its sold-out.

So, from now on, when you complain about lack of dates, you can just blame Ticketmaster.

I do this. It's kind of like how I blame lack of parking on Kanye West.

It's fine to be thankful for the blessings you have :) I do have one suggestion about your love life, a simple prayer that will give you peace: "Lord, Let your will be done…If you want me to meet someone, then let it be. If not, I accept that as well".

Go in peace :)

I went on two dates last week and neither right...
I know I have a great life at 55 years old and two grown sons.
But I believe to have a balance life a soul also needed affection and a partner.
So when single friends go on about all the good in their lives and they are fine with or without a partner. Naw.. I think they are just doing that to make themselves feel better. I have a great life with the best neighbors; friends; my own business; two wonderful grown sons that took care of me through cancer; and I have plenty of interests... but to be total balance would mean being in an emotional healthy relationship (and the men I meet just still want ONLY sex and company and nothing deeper. It feels fake.. nice to get dress and dine out.. but it will always be superficial.. so not settling. (whew I rambled on).
