You never know who your art will touch in a positive way. The same person could be going through a pretty rough patch and maybe that one compliment or in the case that one comic might be the only ray of sunlight they see that day.
People often stop themselves from being honest and giving compliments because they are afraid of being awkward or creepy. My policy is, there can never be any negativity from a sincere compliment,so if you have something nice to say, say it. You could make someone's day and they will appreciate that you went out of your comfort zone just to say it.
