You're never too old to have a Second Childhood... or a Third. One of my personal idols is quoted as saying "I plan to grow old DISgracefully," and I hope he didn't mean it as just a joke because I'm following that example. (And I'm in my 50s with AARP breathing over my shoulder)

Sometimes you do have to loosen up a little. It reminds people that you are there. (Emphasis on the word "little. Too much is just weird.)
I was so busy being Mummy's little overachiever I missed my childhood.
I'm having my happy childhood in my 50s and loving every minute of it.
I chose a wild reddish-purple shade known as "Violin" in Europe.
Waddaya know? My OH loves it!
