When my son was a small, I used to tell him a story that he lived on an island with a large sea turtle by himself. He would play in the surf and ride on it's shell and eat nothing but carrots ( his favorite at the time ). Then one day his mother and I came for him and he waved bye to the turtle and we became a family. This image brought back some great memories. Thank you.
I had a pet turtle when I was a kid. This was before the sale of turtles became illegal. He was just a little guy, so I suppose I could've used a toothbrush to clean him.
