I'm 63 years old. My last attempt at a pull up, a couple of years ago, was an epic fail. Ten push-ups is still within my capabilities. For how much longer, I can't say.
I'd like to make a suggestion when it comes to pull ups, put your hands on the other side of the bar. The way you drew your hands, you are pushing the bar, which makes pull ups extremely difficult. With your hands on the other side of the bar (palms facing you) it is a true pulling motion. Joseph

I'm in my 70's and I can still "sort of do a pull up". Of course, the operative phrase is "sort of".

I did a second one out of surprise. Congratulations!
Congratulations. Was always difficult, and didn't get any easier when I got heavier.
I never could, not even as a kid, so you're doing way better than me. We called them "chin ups" when I was in school.
