Connie, I spent years dying my hair to cover the grey. I dyed it myself to save money, and got tired of the mess (I'm nearsighted. Have to take the glasses off of course--and then can't see past my nose.), but the last three professional dye jobs were expensive and unsatisfactory. I finally decided to stop pandering to whatever it is that tells us grey hair is unacceptable. Guess what? I like my new look much more than the artificial colour. Everyone around me does, too--the same people that encouraged me to dye it in the first place!! I have started something--many of the women I deal with on a daily/weekly basis are starting to let their dye jobs grow out, too.
