True love does exist, it's just in very short supply.
But it's there.
I'm living proof.
True love does not mean roses and honey for the rest of your life. It means that a hard day is okay, as long as you can have the other person with you.
Not that it's news to you, but the "true love" being sold to us by the media--that's the one that doesn't exist. True love means wanting the best for the other person, not because they will give you back but because they are who they are and you are who you are.

Actually, I think I have plenty of true love. It's just not with a life partner right now. ;-)
