It's never too late for therapy! I didn't start until I was nearly 50, and I ended up learning SO MUCH and came out so much stronger and happier and confident!
Oh I don't know Connie...I've been married for 37 yrs and am getting weirder all the time. I was also slapped in therapy at age 8 and continued on and off for 30 years, and still suffer from PTSD. You learn to manage it, but you never "get over it"--no matter how many Bible verses or philosophical "affirmations" they may throw at you.
I had therapy when I was 30, 10 years after getting married. I wish I had done it the other way around, but I'm very glad I did it. Now tapping (EFT) is finishing the job and making me feel normal -- or at least normal for me. We all have to find our own route to peace and stick to it.

I'm so glad I'm among friends.
