Growing up in a small rural town I was considered genius material. Maybe in comparison to those around me I was, I dunno. All I know is, I learn everything the hard way too! My SIL is one of those people who can do everything easily the first time she tries...and therefore she doesn't value the results. For me it's all blood, sweat, and sometimes literal tears, but I'm too pig-headed to give up.
