How to Keep Going

4-panel comic page of a girl with a bun, gathering courage to keep going. Panel 1 shows the girl looking at a wall of colorful images; the caption reads, "Think of all that inspires you." Panel 2 shows the girl on a beach at night, collecting a pail of ocean water. The caption reads, "Pay attention to the energy you collect and put out into the world." In panel 3, it's day and the girl is dumping another pail of water into the sea. In panel 4, she is sitting at a desk, taking notes, and thinking about the moon over the water on the beach. The final caption reads, "Remember what makes you come alive and let that be your guide." Ink and watercolor on paper, titled "How to keep going." Original art by Connie Sun, cartoonconnie, 2025.

Hope you had an easy transition to 2025! I'm figuring out a new workflow for sharing analog artwork and trying to keep creative momentum going through the start of the year.

I've been playing with color again and adding simple watercolors to my drawings. This is a new cartoon that I like enough to share. There's no undo button on paper, so it took me a couple tries, but it's not a bad pep talk to lock in. The plan is to keep going...

Thanks for reading!
